About Frames

Frames is an online trading card game, like any other TCGs, that focuses on a specific theme. General artwork/illustration—anime, artbook, cartoons, comics, games, manga, manhwa/manhua and novels—anything that is hand or digitally-drawn and not CG or 3D-based which will be made into a puzzle deck that players will have to collect in able to master it. Although the categories are already broad, we do not limit this to internationally-known series only—which means, any local comics/series you may have that is widely known locally can be considered for donations.

This TCG strictly uses the series' official art only from its decks down to its custom graphics. This means series that has been drawn or created by the original creator of the series or any of its related official spin-offs that may have been drawn by different artists or companies who work on adaptations and such. We do not accept redrawn or vectorized versions of official art, as well as transparent PNGs even though it is an official art. So, please double check the source of your image before using them.

In addition to official art, we also do not accept fan arts as we are trying to avoid them as much as possible. However, if you are the artist of said fan art or have an explicit/written permission from the artist to use them with a proof provided, then we can reconsider. Make sure that the fan art is canon, so no original characters whatsoever.

TCG Operation

Frames is a semi-automated website-based TCG, powered by Stack—an online TCG management system. Our official updates are done weekly on Sundays (GMT+8) with weekly, bi-weekly and monthly sets of games All of our services, activities and games are done through the site. Trading, however, must take place on the player's individual trade post and be logged accordingly. In addition, all members of this TCG are required to log their trades on our site for them to use our Trading Rewards service. Other than that, any activities will be automatically logged on your on-site logs which you can archive in the future.

As for our decks, we ensure that we are releasing a minimum of at least 5 decks per week. These released decks are decided by our Upcoming Vote activity, which is done every week for members to help us, admins, to decide what decks to release. The system will automatically release the top 5 decks with the greatest number of votes. But depending on the current state of our upcoming decks, either there will be a limit as to how many decks will be released per series or there won't be any releases if the upcoming pile is less than 15 decks.
